History of Haddam, Kansas Churches

Photo shown does not depict a Haddam, Kansas church

Only four churches have ever located in Haddam, Kansas from 1869 to present time.

For many years there were two churches, the United Methodist and the Church of God of Prophecy, but this ended in 2025 when the Church of God of Prophecy disbanded.

"Religion played an important role in early community life, and Haddam was no exception," from Vivian Kolars book, Heritage. Historical church information from Heritage is reflected in the "Through the Years column.

An additional paragraph was provided by Diana Webster, United Methodist Church Pastor, regarding the Methodist Episopal Church.
