The Haddam Cafe, located on the south side of Main Street, is city owned. The building, as a cafe, has been an eating place and socialization area not only to locals but those returning home for a visit, or a day trip just off Highway 36.

Through the years the cafe, also known as Haddam Cafe and Cove, has been run or managed by many stellar individuals who have provided great meals to those who stop to enjoy delicious, home cooked food.

A trip to Haddam is not complete without a stop at the cafe unless, of course, it happens to be on a Saturday or Sunday. Then you return home feeling your visit to Haddam wasn't quite complete. It should be noted there are exceptions like the Sunday Buffet and Frontier Days.
